Frank Oliver Rill is responsible for the Industry division at UMS. He is known for his thought leadership in linking the strategic vision with its operational implementation.

Frank advises multinational corporations at top management level in various industries (metals, mechanical engineering, carbon graphite, chemicals, food).

His focus is on strategic transformation, supply chain redesign, go-to-market strategy and commercial excellence, including the design of target operating models.

Prior to joining UMS, Frank was Director of Supply Chain Management in the aluminum industry at Novelis Zurich, where he drove a supply chain strategy across Europe. Prior to that, he was Managing Director for the global lithography and foil business and responsible for end-to-end profitability.

Frank holds an MBA from Goethe University in Frankfurt, is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a certified and experienced TOC and Lean Practitioner.

In his spare time, he is a passionate guitar and piano player, a dedicated fan of his favorite football club and enjoys coaching children in tennis and handball.
